Welcome to FloraSense 👋
FloraSense is a Bluetooth soil sensor that measures soil temperature, humidity and battery level. This quick guide helps you get started in a few minutes.
Getting started
1
Tap “Connect device”
Your browser opens a Bluetooth device list. Pick the FloraSense detector closest to you.
2
Watch live readings
Once connected, the Now tab shows temperature, humidity and battery — updated in real time.
3
Review trends
Open the History tab to browse every measurement and see 5-record or 7-day average charts.
Calibration
In the Now tab, place the probe fully dry in open air and tap Dry calibration, then submerge the probe in water and tap Wet calibration. This improves humidity accuracy for the soil you use.
Understanding readings
🌡️ Temperature — soil temperature in degrees Celsius. Most plants thrive between 15–30 ℃.
💧 Humidity — relative soil moisture as a percentage. Aim for the sweet spot of your plant.
🔋 Battery — remaining charge. Recharge before it gets too low.
Firmware update
When a newer firmware is available, a violet banner appears above the toolbar. Tap Update now to upgrade over the air — the device reboots automatically after a successful update.
Troubleshooting
Bluetooth unavailable? Use Google Chrome on desktop or the Bluefy app on iOS. On Android WeChat, tap the menu and choose “Open in Browser”.
Not connecting? Make sure the sensor is powered on and close to your phone or computer, then tap Refresh.
Odd data? Use Clear data to remove cached readings for the current device, then reconnect.
